Mount Class of 1993 Reunion Blog

Greetings from…

GREETINGS FROM THOSE WHO CANNOT ATTEND REUNION WEEKEND

I am starting to get E-mails from people that cannot make alumni weekend.  I thought it would be nice to share their thoughts and greetings here.  Below, you will see an excerpt from an E-mail from Maria Ponce. If you cannot make it and would like to write a note to the class, please do so below.

Maria Ponce:

Long time no see!!! Probably you don`t even remember me! MARIA PONCE.

I was so glad to recieve the letter abut the 15 year reunion!!! I will love to go and see so many people, one of them YOU!, Matt Coyle, Pat Gannon, Mike Whilwhol, Joe Rohe, Amy Carter, Jenn Hagan, maybe Gustav Lindstrom, Ed McCarron and some other friends …. still will be so nice to see them, people like Lisa ….M…., don´t remember her last name, Laura, Julie, Jenn….. all the ones that went to Florence.  Unfortunetly, me and my family, my husband John Bakker, and our 3 kids, Victoria (8), Barbara (6) and Thomas (2) will be travelling to Williamsburg, Virginia on July the 9th, and it is too long of a time period to stay, and to short to travel again!  In those days school is ending in Ecuador, and I just have to be here, but would love to be there.

Please give my best regards to everyone!!! Hopefully everyone is doing well, in thier careers and most importantly in their lives, with thier families.  I have recieved the mails on some that had passed away, also some teachers, and I have been really sorry and sad.
I remember lots of faces, not so many names.  That is why it will be so nice to see them and put names back again with faces!!! The 2 years I was at the Mont have been the best!!! All the memories are good, fun and rich. I will be coming up to the Mount in July, since we will be visiting Lura McGinley, who married my nephew Francisco Ponce and live in Gaithesburg, MD.

Please leave something for me!!!!  I will try to catch up!, Good Luck with all the organization!!!
